The brown ale was aged in oak with heaps of cherries, so there's both tart and sweet fruit alongside the oakier notes. We reckon it's more than appropriate as a tangy summer sipper! Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt From California's Bruery Terreux, here we have a sour ale inspired by a Chinese salty, dried plum snack called li hing mui, which is pickled with licorice and salt. In the Spring of 2015, the crew from Bruery Terreux came up to discuss the blend and to brew the first batch of what was to become One Way Or Another.… The Bruery Terreux’s 2016 Rueuze has become a beautifully aged sour blonde at this point: floral, fruity, with a modest degree of lingering funk. This release is particularly lambic-like, with bouncy fruitiness, complex acidity, and vibrant mouthfeel. Rueuze pours bright golden yellow, lightly honeyed, and capped by modest white foam.

Another juicy beer from Bruery Terreux's Frucht series! This is a sour Berliner Weisse-style wheat beer, aged in oak foeders with passion fruit. The tart tropical fruit is the star of this show, though there's good helping of malt, funk, and other sweeter fruits in this refreshing brew.
